How to send for a test.

Collecting a urine sample from a dog or cat is a non-invasive and straightforward procedure that can be performed by a pet owner or a veterinarian. Collect 2-8 ml urine by free catch or by cystocentesis in a non-preservative urine tube, and ship specimen to our lab.

We recommend shipping specimens using an ice block since some Aspergillus strains are sensitive to shipping-heat. Please use FedEx Priority overnight, FedEx 2nd day AM, or UPS Next Day Air and schedule delivery for Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
